What sets the M80 apart is its low-mass capsule with an ultra-thin membrane. That design lets it capture the nuance and emotional detail of a live vocal performance, something usually reserved for delicate studio condensers. The head and capsule geometry also work to tame proximity effect, so you get clean, controlled low end alongside an open, airy top — without tipping into upper-midrange honk or feedback trouble.
Under the hood, an American-made custom-wound impedance-matching transformer pairs with Telefunken’s proprietary capsule to shape the M80’s signature tone — a combination that’s earned it a fast-growing following since launch.
This bundle pairs the mic with a 20′ XLR cable and an MCTB200 telescoping boom stand, so you can set up and start recording or performing right out of the box.
