The Earthworks M23 gives you a dependable reference mic for real-world acoustic work — checking room response, tuning a live sound rig, or diagnosing problems in a mix space — without demanding a lab-grade budget. It’s part of Earthworks’ M Series, built around time-domain accuracy and a frequency response that stays consistent whether the room is warm, cold, or somewhere in between.

Every M23 ships with its own individual calibration chart documenting open-circuit sensitivity and frequency response, and an electronic calibration file is also available. Earthworks recommends re-calibration every five years to keep readings trustworthy over the long haul.
