What sets this box apart from a basic A/B switch is what’s built into the B channel. A high-quality audio transformer can be engaged to electrically isolate the two outputs, which cuts shock risk when amps sit at different ground potentials and, paired with the ground lift switch, knocks out ground-loop hum before it ever hits your tone. A phase reverse switch is also on tap so your two amps stay coherent instead of fighting each other acoustically.
The CoolSwitchPro is entirely passive — no batteries, no power supply, no signal degradation, just true bypass switching housed in a solid aluminum case that stays put on stage or in the studio. There’s also an always-live thru jack for parking a tuner or other gear inline. Flip the whole setup around and it works just as well as a two-instrument-into-one-amp selector for quick guitar swaps.
