Description
sE Electronics built the V3 by pulling straight from years of feedback with touring bands and live engineers, then engineering a dynamic mic tough enough to survive the road while sounding better than typical mics in its price range. It’s a genuine do-anything workhorse — front vocals one night, guitar cab the next.
- All-metal build: Zinc alloy chassis and a spring-steel mesh grille resist dents and corrosion; there’s no plastic to crack under stage abuse. A beveled grille edge also keeps the mic from rolling off an amp or stage floor when you set it down.
- Reliable connection: A gold-plated XLR connector keeps the signal path clean and corrosion-resistant over years of use.
- Internal windscreen: Cuts wind noise and plosives right at the capsule. sE also includes a spare black windscreen if you’d rather skip the signature red.
- Purpose-built voice coil: A custom dynamic element delivers natural, smooth tone across voices and instruments, while the cardioid pattern isolates your source and buys extra gain before feedback. Neodymium magnets and tight tolerances keep sensitivity and output consistent mic to mic.
- Patented shock mount: An integrated design decouples the capsule from handling vibration, so you get noticeably less handling noise even while moving around on stage.
In the box: microphone, mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, and carrying pouch.
Specs: Dynamic capsule, copper voice coil, neodymium magnet, cardioid pattern, 50 Hz–16 kHz frequency range, 600 ohms impedance, 2.5 mV/Pa (-52 dB) sensitivity, 3-pin male XLR, 52 mm diameter x 181 mm length, 295 g weight.
