Description
Built for broadcast and field setups where a bulky windshield isn’t needed but clean sound still is, the Rycote InVision INV-7 uses the brand’s Lyre suspension design to strip away cable knocks, stand vibration, and boom-handling thumps before they ever hit your recording.
- Works with mics mounted on desks, stands, or boom poles, as well as suspended applications
- Compatible with popular shotgun and short interference-tube mics, including the Schoeps CMIT-5U, Audio-Technica AT4073a, Sennheiser ME66/K6 and MKH series, Neumann KMR81i, DPA 4017, and Beyerdynamic MCE86
- Includes two 19-25mm universal clips paired with a Standard 70mm-wide Lyre suspension
- Fitted with a long mounting bar on 70mm (2.75″) centres
- Lyre webs are available in two widths (43mm and 70mm) across the InVision line, with mounting bars in 25mm and 70mm lengths depending on configuration
- An optional reducing sleeve (InVision INV-4) lets slimmer mics, such as the Schoeps CCM series, seat securely in the Lyre
If you’re shooting interviews, ENG, or documentary audio and need a shock mount that stays out of frame while doing real work protecting your signal, the INV-7 is a sensible, no-fuss upgrade for your boom rig.
