Description
The Radial SB-2 StageBug proves you don’t need a big footprint to get a big, reliable direct-injection signal. Built small enough to tuck into a guitar case pocket, it’s designed for musicians who need dependable DI performance without hauling extra gear.
- 1/4″ input with thru-put jack, so you can feed your on-stage amp while sending a balanced signal to the house at the same time
- Custom Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer handles impedance matching and balancing, adding a warm, slightly vintage character to the tone
- -15dB pad switch tames hot signals from active basses or digital pianos that would otherwise overdrive an input
- Stereo-to-mono merge lets you plug in stereo keyboards or a computer output and combine both channels into one XLR feed, no reconfiguring gear or burning extra PA channels
- AES-standard XLR output (pin-2 hot) for compatibility with standard consoles and interfaces
- Ground lift switch (pin-1) knocks out hum and buzz from ground loops
Because the SB-2 is passive, there’s no battery or power supply to worry about, and the transformer isolation keeps your signal clean by separating input from output electrically. It’s a straightforward, plug-and-play tool that just works, whether you’re tracking at home, gigging, or leaving one permanently patched into a keyboard rig.
Good for bass players, acoustic guitarists, and keyboardists who want a compact DI they can trust show after show.
