Description
The Radial LX3 solves a common studio problem: sending one balanced source to multiple destinations without ground loops or signal degradation getting in the way. It’s a fully passive design, so there’s no power supply to plug in and no active circuitry to introduce noise or coloration into your signal path.
- 1 balanced input
- 1 direct (unisolated) output
- 2 outputs isolated via Jensen transformers
The direct output is handy for feeding a nearby device on the same ground reference, while the two Jensen-isolated outputs are built for splitting signal to gear on separate ground systems – think sending a feed to a broadcast truck, a second recording rig, or a monitor console across the room, all without picking up hum or interference along the way.
Because it’s passive, the LX3 fits neatly into a rack or signal chain without adding another point of failure that needs mains power. It’s a straightforward, set-it-and-forget-it tool for anyone who regularly needs to distribute one line-level signal to several destinations cleanly.
Good fit for studios running parallel recording setups, live-to-tape sessions, or any workflow where one source needs to reach multiple pieces of gear with each output staying electrically isolated from the others.
