Inside the vinyl zipper bag you’ll find the mic itself with its stainless mesh grill, a foam windscreen, and a mic clip — everything required to get it on a stand and working. What you won’t find are the interchangeable gold/silver/black screens or the padded carrying case that ship with the standard PR 20. If you don’t need the bling, this is the smarter buy.
Performance-wise, nothing has been dialed back. The PR 20 UT handles sound pressure levels up to +140 dB SPL, making it comfortable in front of loud amps or aggressive vocalists, while offering -35 dB of rear rejection to keep unwanted stage bleed out of the signal.
