Description
The MP-2NV borrows its DNA from the classic 1073 module but updates the formula with tighter accuracy and transparency without losing the vintage character that made that circuit famous. Push it hard and you get the transformer saturation and single-ended soft distortion that add real punch to electric guitars, sound modules, and drums; keep it gentle and it stays clean enough for detailed tracking.
Iron sits right in the signal path, so the big, warm coloration is baked into the design rather than bolted on. A 1/4″ -10dBV output gives you no-latency monitoring straight to your DAW, while the front-panel hi-Z input makes it easy to reamp or shape bass, guitar, and sound modules on the fly. Each channel has its own input and output meters, so gain staging is visual, not guesswork. The noise floor stays low enough to disappear behind vocals, and running both channels together widens the stereo image nicely.
