Description
The BBE 382i SW pairs BBE’s full-function Sonic Maximizer processing with a dedicated variable low-pass filter for subwoofer output, so you get both signal clarity and bass management from a single unit. It’s built for mobile DJ setups, nightclub and theater sound systems, studios, and general PA reinforcement where tightening up the low end matters as much as sharpening the highs.
Because the subwoofer output filter runs independently from the Sonic Maximizer circuit, you can dial in your crossover point for the sub feed without disturbing the main processed signal. Unbalanced 1/4″ and RCA inputs/outputs make it easy to drop into existing rigs, and the +20dB of output headroom gives you room to work without running into clipping.
- Full-function Sonic Maximizer circuit for improved clarity and definition
- Independent variable low-pass filter dedicated to subwoofer output
- +20dB of output headroom
- Unbalanced 1/4″ and RCA inputs and outputs
- 108dB signal-to-noise ratio
On the spec sheet: frequency response is program-controlled in process mode and runs 5Hz to 30kHz in bypass. Signal-to-noise sits at 108dBu on the process input and 120dBu on the process output, with total harmonic distortion under 0.1% at 1kHz in process mode. Maximum output is rated at +20dBu, input impedance at 47K Ohms, nominal input level at -10dBu, and output impedance at 1K Ohms.
Whether you’re running a club system that needs consistent bottom end night after night or a home studio monitor chain that could use a bit more punch and detail, the 382i SW gives you that control without adding a second box for sub management.
