This is a demo unit, so pricing reflects that — but the circuitry inside is the same proven design ART built its reputation on.
At the heart of the unit sits a hand-selected 12AX7a tube delivering up to 70dB of gain with that smooth, fat, unmistakably analog character. The Variable Valve Voicing (V3) control lets you dial in exactly how much of that tube flavor comes through, while Output Protection Limiting (OPL) keeps things from getting away from you on hot signals. Independent input and output gain stages give you flexible control over your levels going in and out.
Beyond mic preamplification, the Tube MP Studio V3 doubles as a capable tube-driven direct box — impedance matching makes it a solid choice for line-level instrument sources too. It’s equipped with both XLR and 1/4″ inputs and outputs, switchable +48V phantom power for condenser mics, and a phase reversal switch for fixing polarity issues in multi-mic setups.
