The ART Tube MP Project Series takes the original Tube MP formula and rebuilds it for modern project studios. It’s a one-channel hybrid preamp that runs mics, instruments, and line-level sources through a hand-selected 12AX7A tube, giving you up to 70dB of clean, musical gain without the harsh edge of purely solid-state units. Housed in an all-aluminum, stackable chassis, it’s built to sit alongside other project-series gear on a desk or in a small rack without taking up much real estate.
What sets this update apart from earlier Tube MP versions is the Fast FET limiter — it reacts quickly to hot transients so a loud vocal take or an enthusiastic guitar strum doesn’t clip your interface downstream. Precision LED metering gives you a clear read on gain staging, while switchable input impedance, a phase invert switch, and a high-cut filter let you shape the signal before it ever leaves the box.
