Description
The Tube MP Project Series takes ART’s long-running Tube MP design and reworks it top to bottom, pairing a hand-selected 12AX7A tube with a discrete, low-noise front end. The result is a compact preamp that can drive up to 70dB of clean, musical gain into a mixer, audio interface, or recording console — useful for anything from vocals and acoustic instruments to line-level sources that need a bit more character.
Beyond gain, this update brings a genuinely useful feature set: a fast FET limiter to catch unexpected peaks before they clip, switchable input impedance to better match different mics and instruments, and precision LED metering so you can actually see what’s happening to your signal. The all-aluminum, stackable chassis is built for multi-unit setups, and built-in phantom power means you’re ready for condenser mics right out of the box.
