Description
Every studio rack eventually turns into a snake pit of patch cables, and the ART P48 exists to fix that. This 1U, 19-inch rackmount patchbay gives you 48 balanced TRS 1/4-inch connection points, letting you route gear on the fly instead of crawling behind the rack. Each pair of jacks can be independently set to normal or half-normal operation, so you can build a routing scheme that matches how your studio or live rig actually works, whether that means hardwired signal paths with quick override access or fully flexible patch-as-you-go connections.
Signal integrity holds up under real-world use: CMRR rated better than -90 dB (typically -95 dB) keeps noise out of balanced lines, while channel-to-channel isolation better than -80 dB (typically -95 dB) keeps adjacent connections from bleeding into each other. That matters when you’ve got dozens of inputs and outputs living side by side in a single chassis.
The enclosure itself is fully shielded steel, built to shrug off the bumps and vibration of daily rack use, and the rack ears are reversible for mounting flexibility depending on your rack layout. At 1.75″H x 19″W x 3.5″D and just 4.5 lbs, it slots into a single rack space without adding bulk or weight you have to plan around.
