Description
Stop reaching around the back of your rack to swap connections. The ART P16 pulls 16 channels of balanced XLR signal to a single, easy-to-reach space in your rack, so patching mics, preamps, and outboard gear stays quick and painless. It’s also kinder to your gear – fewer plug/unplug cycles on expensive rear-panel connectors means less wear over time.
Built around an all-steel, black anodized chassis, the P16 is a purely passive design: female XLR jacks up front, male XLR on the back, with all internal wiring run through a PCB rather than loose cable runs. That construction choice keeps signal paths consistent and cuts down on the kind of intermittent connections that plague cheaper patch bays.
At 1U, it drops into any standard 19-inch rack – live PA rig, studio rack, or permanent install – without eating up much real estate. Reversible rack ears let you flip the mounting orientation to fit your layout.
