Need to send two sources into a mixer without hum, noise, or level mismatches? The ART DUALXDirect packs two fully independent active DI channels into one compact aluminum enclosure, each with combo 1/4″ and XLR inputs so you can plug in instruments, line-level gear, or speaker-level signals and come out with a clean, isolated, low-impedance balanced signal on the other end.
Every channel runs through low-noise active circuitry with a wide, flat frequency response, so tone stays neutral and accurate whether you’re running short patch cables or a long cable snake across a stage. Per-channel attenuator switches handle hot signals gracefully, THRU jacks let you tap the signal chain for tuners or amps, and ground lift switches on each side knock out hum and ground-loop noise when you’re tying two separate systems together.
Power comes from phantom voltage on the output line, or from a single internal 9V battery when phantom isn’t available — the unit senses which source is present and switches automatically, with the LED brightness telling you at a glance which mode it’s in. A battery lasts over 100 hours of use, so you’re covered even off-grid. Built into a rugged black-anodized aluminum shell, this DI is made for repeated setup and teardown across live shows, fixed installs, and DJ rigs.
