Description
Ground loop hum ruining your signal chain? The ART DTI is a passive dual transformer isolator built to break the electrical connection between two audio systems while keeping the signal path clean and transparent. A pair of high-performance transformers separates input and output grounds entirely, so noise from mismatched grounding stops before it ever hits your mix.
These aren’t cheap isolation transformers — they’re wound for 1:1 unity gain and engineered for a wide, flat frequency response (10Hz-50kHz, ±0.5dB @ +4dBu), so you’re not trading hum for lost highs or lows. They handle impedances from 600 Ohms to 100k Ohms and stay stable at high signal levels, keeping distortion down to 0.01% typical at 1kHz.
Connection flexibility is where the DTI earns its keep. Every input and output gets XLR, 1/4″ TRS, and RCA phono jacks, so it drops into nearly any rig without adapters or workarounds — whether that’s a DAW-to-monitor connection, a long snake run in a permanent install, isolating a stubborn source, or just adding a safer bridge between two mismatched systems.
Housed in a compact black anodized aluminum chassis, the DTI needs no power and no maintenance, making it a set-it-and-forget-it fix for live sound, fixed installs, DJ setups, or general PA duty.
