Description
The ELX112 pairs a 12″ EVS-12K woofer with a 1.5″ titanium-diaphragm DH-1K compression driver, giving you a passive box that covers 55 Hz to 20 kHz and pushes up to 132 dB max SPL from 250W continuous / 1000W peak handling. That’s plenty of headroom for bands, DJs, or corporate gigs without needing onboard amplification or DSP to babysit.
Coverage sits at 90° horizontal by 50° vertical, so a pair does a solid job spreading sound across a room or stage without a ton of extra boxes. The 8-ohm nominal (7-ohm minimum) impedance and dual NL4 connectors make wiring straightforward for anyone running passive setups, and the 2.1 kHz crossover keeps the handoff between woofer and compression driver smooth.
Cabinets are 9-ply, 15mm braced plywood with a textured paint finish, backed by an 18-gauge steel grille in black powdercoat – built to survive load-in, load-out, and everything in between. They pole-mount for monitor duty or stack on EV’s Live X subwoofers when you need a full-range rig.
