Description
Fishman’s TriplePlay hands your electric guitar a second life as a MIDI controller, and it does it wirelessly. A low-profile hexaphonic pickup mounts behind the bridge with no permanent modification to your guitar, then talks to a USB receiver on your computer or iOS device from over 100 feet away. No 13-pin cable, no tripping hazard on stage.
Once you’re set up, you can layer up to four instruments at once, split sounds by string or fret, or hold a note while you keep playing on top of it. A guitar/mix/synth switch and onboard volume control stay within reach during a set, so you’re not digging through menus mid-song. The controller itself is under half an inch thick, meaning you can leave it mounted and still close your guitar case. Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for over 20 hours, backed by a fast-charge power pack and USB cable.
This listing is for a gently used unit that includes the wireless controller, hexaphonic pickup, wireless USB receiver, mounting brackets and hardware, charging pack, and USB cable.
TriplePlay also ships with a genuinely useful software bundle for composing, recording, and mixing:
- Native Instruments KOMPLETE Elements and GuitarRig LE
- Notion Music PROGRESSION 2
- IK Multimedia SampleTank 2 XT and AmpliTube Custom Shop
- PreSonus Studio One Artist TriplePlay Edition
It’s built for players who want to write, teach, or produce faster—accurate notation, quick note encoding, and a mixing console are all part of the package. Runs on Windows 7+ or OS X 10.6+, with 4GB RAM and 10GB free storage recommended. Model: PRO-TRP-301.
