Description
The IF4W4 gives you four independent 4-wire-to-partyline channels in a single modular unit, making it straightforward to bring TV cameras, two-way radios, fiber optic circuits, and other 4-wire devices into a Clear-Com intercom system without extra outboard gear.
- Interfaces TV cameras, two-way radios, fiber circuits, and other 4-wire devices to Clear-Com partyline
- Each channel has its own Transmit, Receive, and Null controls for precise setup
- Transmit output switches between mic and line level to match your source
- Built-in test jack and oscillator speed up nulling during install
- Selective partyline capability lets you route channels as needed
- Accepts balanced or unbalanced 4-wire input
- Transformer isolated to keep noise and hum out of the signal path
- Terminal block and XLR connectors provided for each interface
- Powered directly from the intercom line, so no separate power supply is needed
Because each of the four channels runs independently, crews can mix and match device types on the same unit — a camera on one channel, a radio link on another — while keeping the whole rig on a single partyline. The onboard oscillator and test jack make gain-staging and null adjustments fast, which matters when you’re setting up under time pressure on a shoot or broadcast. For studios and production teams that already run Clear-Com, the IF4W4 is a practical way to fold outside audio sources into the intercom network cleanly, with transformer isolation protecting signal integrity along the way.
