This headworn cardioid condenser sits comfortably and unobtrusively on the head, positioning the capsule at the side of the mouth so it stays out of the way while capturing clear, focused sound. It’s a natural fit for drummers, keyboard players, and any performer who can’t afford to fumble with a handheld between parts.

Dynamic range hits 111 dB on phantom power or 97 dB on battery power (both at 1 kHz, max SPL), with a signal-to-noise ratio of 59 dB. Maximum input sound level reaches 146 dB SPL on phantom or 132 dB SPL on battery, so it can take a hit without distorting. Power requirements are 11-52V DC at roughly 2 mA, and there’s a built-in low-frequency roll-off at 80 Hz (18 dB/octave) to tame handling and proximity rumble. The mic capsule itself measures just 0.39″ in diameter and weighs 1.1 oz, while the power module weighs 4.9 oz and outputs through an integral 3-pin XLRM connector.
