Running out of quality preamp channels on your interface? The ART TubeOpto8 solves that in one rack unit, giving you eight discrete Class-A tube mic preamps plus a full ADAT lightpipe connection to feed your DAW, recorder, or lightpipe-equipped interface directly.

Each of the eight channels is independently controllable, so you’re never stuck compromising across the board. Every input has its own pad, phase reverse, and low-frequency roll-off switch, along with separate gain and output level controls. Push up to 70dB of clean gain for transparent tracking, or lean into the tube stage for warmth and gentle saturation when a source needs some character. LED level meters and clip indicators on each channel keep you aware of gain staging without guesswork.

On the digital side, the TubeOpto8 sends and receives eight channels of 24-bit audio over ADAT lightpipe at 44.1 or 48kHz. Wordclock in and thru connections mean you can chain multiple units together for larger multitrack setups without sync headaches.
