Description
The V7 brings sE Electronics’ studio pedigree to the stage, pairing a rugged all-metal build with a dynamic capsule tuned for live vocals. It’s the result of sE listening to touring engineers and bands before ever making a dynamic mic — and it shows in both the durability and the tone.
- Built for the road: A zinc alloy chassis and dent-proof, corrosion-resistant spring steel grille handle years of stage abuse, load-in after load-in. The beveled grille edge also keeps the mic from rolling off an amp or monitor wedge.
- Reliable connection: A gold-plated XLR connector keeps the signal path clean and consistent over the long haul.
- Wind and pop control: An internal windscreen tames plosives and stage-fan noise; a spare black windscreen is included if you want a different look than the red housing.
- Custom DMC7 capsule: The aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet combine for a crisp, open sound, while the supercardioid pattern rejects bleed from monitors and other instruments to push back feedback.
- Integrated shock mount: sE’s patented internal shock mount isolates the capsule from handling noise, so movement on stage doesn’t translate into rumble through the PA.
In the box: V7 microphone, mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, carrying pouch.
