The Peavey XR-S solves the classic small-venue problem: how to get real power, clean routing, and useful effects without hauling a rack full of separate boxes. This 8-channel powered mixer delivers 1,000 watts RMS (1,500 watts peak) and routes it through four twist-lock combo outputs, with the amp section switchable between Main/Main and Main/Monitor modes depending on how your stage is set up.

Each of the 8 combination XLR/1/4″ input channels gets its own 3-band EQ and input pad, while dual 9-band graphic EQs (main and monitor) give you tighter overall tonal control across the room and the stage mix. Peavey’s onboard digital effects, MidMorph EQ, and KOSMOS bass enhancement work together to add low-end weight and top-end clarity without extra outboard gear, and the FLS (Feedback Locating System) helps you find and kill problem frequencies before they turn into a howl.

Bluetooth streaming and a USB port with an LCD readout let you pull music straight from a phone or a jump drive, showing file names and play status right on the mixer. Add a footswitchable master mic mute and footswitchable effects defeat, and you’ve got hands-free control during a show.

Other practical touches: subwoofer line output, effect-to-monitor return, monitor send, analog record output, per-channel signal/clip LEDs, and a line-level monitor output. An optional rack mount kit is available if you’d rather integrate the XR-S into a permanent rig.
