The Koss QZ PRO tackles unwanted noise from two directions at once. Soft leatherette closed cushions form a snug seal around each ear, blocking ambient sound passively while keeping low-end intact. Layered on top is active noise reduction circuitry built into the ear cups: small microphones pick up surrounding noise, feed it to an onboard processor, and the circuit generates opposing sound waves to cancel it out. If you’d rather listen without ANR running, a simple switch turns it off.
Sound-wise, the dynamic drivers cover a 40-20,000 Hz range at 32 ohms with a sensitivity of 90 dB SPL/1mW, giving these headphones enough bass depth and midrange balance to satisfy critical listening, not just noise blocking.
Built for life on the move, the QZ PRO folds down into a compact, collapsible shape and includes a padded headband for long stretches of wear. Koss rates the ANR circuitry for roughly 30 hours of continuous use per battery charge.
