This PR77D comes from our demo floor – gently used, fully functional, and priced to reflect its demo status rather than any flaw in performance. It’s the same broadcast-grade dynamic microphone that’s found a home in podcasting booths, commercial radio, and project studios needing clean, articulate sound without a lot of fuss.

At the heart of the PR77D is a 1-inch, low-mass voice coil paired with a neodymium-iron-boron magnet structure, giving it a flat, wide-range response and fast transient response. The phasing plug design delivers strong rear rejection – over -40 dB at 180 degrees off-axis – so background noise and bleed stay out of the picture, while the front pickup pattern stays consistent even as you move around in front of it.

What sets this mic apart is its two-position switch, letting you tailor the frequency response on the fly. Flip to Voice mode for a 120 Hz roll-off at -6 dB per octave – ideal for cutting rumble and tightening up spoken word. Switch to Music mode to open up the full 60 Hz to 16 kHz range for a more natural, extended sound.

Built for boom or base mounting with a standard 5/8″-27 stand thread, the PR77D is a cardioid dynamic mic designed to work exclusively in stationary setups rather than handheld use.
