Description
The ART MX622 earns its spot in a rack by doing the unglamorous job of consolidating signals without adding noise or hassle. It takes three balanced XLR inputs, switchable between mic and line level, and folds them together with three stereo RCA inputs into a single stereo output. Switchable +15V phantom power handles condenser mics on any of the mic channels, while individual level controls and clip indicators on every input keep gain-staging straightforward.
Once your sources are combined, the two-band master EQ (+/-12dB at 100Hz and 10kHz) lets you shape the overall tone before it hits the balanced TRS 1/4-inch main outputs. A mono-send, stereo-return effects loop gives you an easy way to patch in an external processor without disturbing your dry signal, and separate stereo record outputs mean you can capture a mix independently of what’s going to the main output.
Housed in a single rack space with an internal power supply, the MX622 is built for setups where reliability and a small footprint matter more than bells and whistles. This unit is offered as open box/demo stock.
