Description
When you’re chasing feedback in a monitor mix or trying to tame a side-fill cabinet, the ART HQ231 gives you the surgical control to shape sound without babysitting the board all night. This dual-channel 31-band 1/3-octave graphic EQ uses ART’s own FDC (Feedback Detection Circuit) alongside constant-Q filtering that holds center frequency accuracy to within 3%, so cuts stay precise instead of smearing into neighboring bands.
Each channel runs independently, with its own bypass, level control, and LED output metering so you can dial in trust before the show starts. Slider range switches between 6dB and 12dB depending on how aggressive you need to be, and separate variable Hi Pass and Low Pass filters per channel let you clean up rumble or hiss before it ever hits the mains.
Built-in relay bypass means a power failure won’t kill your signal chain – audio keeps passing through. Add active balanced and unbalanced I/O, RFI filtering, a clip level indicator, ground lift switch, and selectable line voltage, and you’ve got a unit that’s equally at home in a touring rack or a permanent install.
This is an open-box / demo unit – fully functional, priced accordingly.
