What makes this mic useful on loud stages is its ceiling for input level: a permanently polarized condenser capsule rated up to 145 dB SPL means blaring horns or cracking snares won’t push it into distortion. Its cardioid pattern focuses on the instrument it’s clipped to while rejecting bleed from monitors, other players, and crowd noise beside and behind it. A 50-15,000 Hz frequency response with an 80 Hz roll-off switch (18 dB/octave) helps you tame boominess on low-end sources while still capturing the detail of the performance.

The mic terminates in a locking 4-pin connector designed to mate with Audio-Technica UniPak bodypack transmitters, and it ships with a 55-inch cable, so routing it from the instrument to a beltpack is straightforward.
