The USB Dual Pre PS packs two clean mic pres and a USB audio interface into a compact, road-ready box, equally at home tracking in a bedroom studio or capturing sound out in the field. Each channel offers up to 48 dB of low-noise gain, with signal and clip LEDs so you can dial in levels without guesswork. Combo XLR/1/4-inch TRS inputs accept mics or line-level instruments, and the balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs keep your signal clean on the way out.

Power flexibility is a real strength here. Run it straight off USB bus power, drop in a 9V battery, or hook up an optional external 12V supply – mix and match as your setup demands. On battery alone with phantom power off, expect over 50 hours of runtime; switch phantom on and you’re still looking at roughly 20 hours, plenty for a full session without hunting for an outlet.

Zero-latency monitoring lets you hear yourself in real time while recording, and independent gain controls per channel give you precise control over each input. A 1/4-inch TRS balanced monitor output pairs with a 1/8-inch headphone jack for flexible listening options. Audacity recording software is included, along with the USB cable, so you can get sound into your computer right out of the box.
