Re-amping is how a lot of iconic guitar, bass, keys, and even vocal tones get made: instead of committing to a sound at tracking time, you record a clean DI signal and then push it back out through an amp or pedal chain later, experimenting freely until the tone is right. The Radial ProRMP handles that job with zero active circuitry — it’s a 100% passive box built around a custom-wound transformer that converts your balanced, low-impedance recorder output into the hi-z signal a guitar amp expects.

Setup is straightforward: connect it between your interface or recorder output and your amp or effects, dial in the level, and start playing back. The same transformer that handles impedance matching also isolates the circuit electrically, which helps knock out ground-loop buzz and hum before it becomes a problem.

Radial builds these to survive studio and stage life. The chassis is 14-gauge steel in a book-end, welded I-beam configuration that keeps stress off the internal PC board and solder joints. A full-bottom no-slip pad keeps it planted on an amp head or floor and also prevents contact with chassis bolts that could otherwise introduce ground loops.

This unit is open box — inspected and fully functional, just without factory-sealed packaging.
