Description
Fender’s SLIDE is built for guitarists and bassists who want to record without fuss, whether that’s at a desk, on a couch, or on the road. Plug in with a standard 1/4″ instrument cable and connect to your computer or iOS device using the included cable for your platform – SLIDE connect “L” for iOS, SLIDE connect “A” for Mac/PC.
Onboard, you’ll find separate Volume and Mix knobs. Volume handles your overall output level, while Mix lets you blend in your dry signal to help mask latency while you play – a small feature that makes a real difference when you’re tracking in real time. Bi-directional audio means you can monitor input and output at once, whether you’re listening back through studio monitors or keeping things quiet with headphones via the 1/8″ stereo output.
Under the hood, SLIDE uses premium AD/DA converters paired with Dynamic Range Extension circuitry, aiming for cleaner conversion and a truer signal-to-noise ratio so your playing translates accurately. Audio resolution runs up to 24-bit/48kHz. The body itself is designed to sit flat and stay put on a tabletop, with controls placed for quick, intuitive access mid-session.
Fender also bundles in software to get you playing and recording right away:
- Two complimentary versions of IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube amp and effects modeling software
- A Lite version of Rock Prodigy, a structured guitar-learning app
To activate your Rock Prodigy Lite license, head to fender.com/slide and follow the registration steps.
Specs: One 1/4″ instrument input; outputs via USB Mini-B and 1/8″ stereo (headphone/line); audio up to 24-bit/48kHz.
